Meet our Founder

Jeanie Christian | Aging Life Care Manager

As the Owner & Executive Director of Aging Care Management LLC, Jeanie has the passion to advocate for older adults and their families as they navigate the challenges of aging. Her interest in working with the aging adult population sparked at a young age while growing up on Lookout Mountain and helping care for her great grandmother and great aunt. This was the beginning of her devotion to working with older adults and their families.

With her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Sociology from Covenant College, Jeanie has worked for over 20 years in the field of aging as a Social Services Director in skilled nursing facilities, a Senior Care Counselor in independent and assisted living, a Senior Advisor in a senior placement company and has worked for an elder law firm.

Jeanie’s experience spans from medical transcription and managing medical records to years of supporting families of those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia by leading a support group. These experiences have equipped her with the in-depth knowledge it takes to effectively piece together the many complex parts of a personalized plan of care that improves the health and wellbeing of her clients. Jeanie lives in Dalton with her husband, Matt, Associate Pastor at Christ Church Presbyterian, Riley who attends Young Harris College, and Karen who attends Dalton High School.

Scott Sangster | Aging Care Manager

Scott developed a servant’s heart while growing up close to his grandfather. His father passed away when he was 14, so his Grandfather became a mentor and role model and was the best man at Scott's wedding. Scott has continued his grandfather's legacy of compassion by being deeply involved through his leadership in the local Boys and Girls Clubs. He also has over 15 years of volunteering with and working for the local Alzheimer’s Association of North Georgia. He has been recognized as Citizen of the Week by the Dalton Daily Citizen News and Associate of the Year by the President of Care More Inc.

Scott is uniquely skilled to support our special needs clients because of his experience in case management with Goodwill Industries and working with Traumatic Brain Injury patients at Siskin Hospital. Scott had his eyes opened to the special needs population during his experience at a therapeutic equestrian center. After observing those in wheelchairs, and crutches get on top of a gentle giant and laugh he was hooked. He went on to receive his associate's degree from Dalton College in Health Information Technology and has been pursuing his passion ever since. Scott has also worked in the Dalton Public Schools System with special needs students in their classes.

Through his experience working in long-term care facilities, Scott has had many opportunities to advocate for seniors in the important daily details that make a difference in having a good quality of life when they otherwise might be overlooked. As a care manager with Aging Care Management, Scott is passionate about client advocacy for seniors from hospital stays to doctor’s appointments. We're proud to have Scott as a member of the Aging Care Management team.
